A stampede of elephants came over the hill! Frightened, I was frozen in position, still reaching for that blackberry up high. Seeing me, they slowed down until they came to stop, just a few inches away. The elephant in the lead, and closest to me, reached up, picked that high blackberry, and handed it tome. I came out of my frozen position, for I recognized this elephant, and she recognized me. For it was Bo Tut, my father’s pride and joy. My father breed’s elephants since the area we live in used elephants for many things.
As Bo Tut picked me up, my mother came running over the hill, the picnic basket swinging on her arm, to make sure I was okay. Seeing that I was, she smiled at me when she also saw what I had discovered. After telling me to get down, with a grin on her face, we picked blackberries until we had filled the basket.
Then, leading the elephants on Bo Tut, we headed back over the hill to join the others. It appears that a large cat had scared and chased the elephants, causing the stampede. The cat would no longer be a problem, for it lay slain, by my father’s gun.
We figured this was also the cat that had been killing villagers. Since there were no more mysteries disappearances, it was concluded that it was the cat my father had slain, who had been killing the villagers. Now, my father is a hero in my village.

- List one thing you've learned from writing this paper that you have applied to other writing assignments.
In this paper, I've learned about using the imagination. It has helped me to use my imagination a bit more in other papers and make them more creative. - Identify a challenge you faced while writing this paper (this can be at any stage of the writing process). How did you overcome the challenge? What did you learn?
A challenge I faced was deciding what ideas I wanted to use for this paper. I decided to use some ideas that seemed to tie in with each other. I now realize as well that the things I decided to use were based off of something I had recently watched or read. I learned that sometimes including things from your life can help build your paper stronger. - What genre does this paper fit? How do you know?
This paper is a narrative. I know because it has a good amount of detail and it is a non-realistic, even though it is small. - Given more time to work on this paper, how would you improve it?
If I had more time to work on this paper, I would make this small story a bit longer to help get a better idea of what the conditions are in the story. - Why did you choose to include this paper? What do you want me to learn about you as a writer?
I chose to include this paper because it is an example of some creative ideas that I sometimes come up with. It may also influence me to write some other fantasies I discover in my mind.
