Since I’m getting prepositions and subordinating conjunctions confused a lot, I can use the things I’m good at to figure out which one a word it could be. Subjects are always the nouns or pronouns doing the action. The direct object is the noun or pronoun receiving the action. Dependent clauses are flagged by subordinating conjunctions, which cause me to miss the dependent clause since I messed up on subordinating conjunction.
4) Identify three specific things that you have learned regarding grammar.
I have learned the articles (a, an, the) always flag nouns. Now I am almost always able to identify helping and action verbs. I now am able to identify verb phrases.
